Součástí zákona o Elektronické Evidenci Tržeb (EET) je také povinnost oznámit tuto skutečnost zákazníkovi. Zákon jasně stanovuje jak má znít toto informační oznámení.
Pro drtivou většinu živnostníků, kteří budou evidovat v tzv. „Běžném režimu“ platí následující text informačního oznamení:
„Podle zákona o evidenci tržeb je prodávající povinen vystavit kupujícímu účtenku. Zároveň je povinen zaevidovat přijatou tržbu u správce daně online; v případě technického výpadku pak nejpozději do 48 hodin.“
Pro ty, kteří budou evidovat v režimu „Zjednodušeném“ pak platí tento text:
„Podle zákona o evidenci tržeb je prodávající povinen vystavit kupujícímu účtenku. Příjemce tržby eviduje tržby ve zjednodušeném režimu, tzn. je povinen zaevidovat přijatou tržbu u správce daně nejpozději do 5 dnů.“
